Hong Kong is actively rebuilding its business connections with the Middle East following disruptions caused by the Iran war. The city recently hosted the Saudi-founded LEAP conference, aimed at fostering AI and technology partnerships between China and the Middle East.

At the event, Cornerstone Robotics, a Chinese tech exhibitor, expressed plans to market its surgical system not only in the Middle East but also in Southeast Asia and Europe. This move highlights the eagerness of Chinese companies to expand their footprint in these regions despite ongoing geopolitical challenges.

The conference underscores Hong Kong's strategic role in cultivating China-Middle East business relations and advancing technological collaboration.
