Australia's left-back Jordan Bos will miss the first three months of the upcoming season for Dutch club Feyenoord due to a knee injury he suffered at the FIFA World Cup 2026. The injury occurred during the first half of Australia's last-32 match against Egypt on July 3, held at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where Bos was clattered into and subsequently left the game with his left knee in a brace.
The 23-year-old Bos started all of Australia's matches at the World Cup, overcoming previous serious hamstring injuries to secure his move to Feyenoord. In his first season with the club, after transferring from Westerlo in Belgium, he scored four goals in 36 appearances.
Bos's absence is a significant setback for Feyenoord as they prepare for the new season.
