He promised voters an America with lower prices for groceries, gas, and housing, affordable healthcare accessible to all citizens, and opportunities for young people to buy homes and start families. He also pledged to protect Social Security and Medicare for seniors.

Jeffries further stated that Democrats would rein in the Trump administration's immigration enforcement policies, push President Trump to end the nearly five-month war in Iran, and urge the Justice Department to release all remaining undisclosed files related to its investigation of Jeffrey Epstein.
