The Philadelphia bomb squad safely removed a reported grenade found in the city's Feltonville neighborhood on Thursday morning, July 30, 2026.
Authorities reported that around 2 a.m., someone threw the device into a home. The grenade did not detonate, and someone inside the residence threw it back out onto the street. The home was evacuated as a precaution until the device was recovered.
After recovery, officials determined the device was not an explosive and confirmed it posed no danger to the public.
