A coalition of adversaries to the United States, including Iran, Russia, North Korea, China, and the so-called Axis of Resistance—which includes Iran, the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, and several Iraqi militias—remains active in undermining American power and influence.

North Korea has recently sent an additional 30,000 troops to support Russia, doubling its previous contribution. These troops are expected to be poorly integrated and face high casualties. Meanwhile, Russia has been providing Iran with satellite surveillance and targeting information, enabling Tehran to strike American facilities with increased precision.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukrainian forces launched long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea, targeting two Russian vessels involved in military cargo shipments for Iran. This highlights the ongoing military cooperation between Russia and Iran despite international pressures.

Iran’s allies have previously supported Tehran by firing missiles at Israel during the 2025 Israeli-Iran conflict and again from March through June 2026, suggesting continued alignment with Tehran’s strategic goals.

Asian allies such as Japan and South Korea, who had previously contributed troops to stabilize Iraq after Operation Iraqi Freedom, have remained distant from current American military operations.

These developments illustrate the resilience and strengthening of informal alliances between Iran, Russia, and their partners, contrasting with the formal alliances maintained by the United States.
