Trump wrote on Truth Social that the agreement is "a critical step towards Gaza finally being governed by a new Palestinian government that will work closely with the Board of Peace to help the Palestinian people." He added, "At the same time, Israel will have the security it deserves, with Gaza no longer used as a base for terror attacks."

According to Trump, as Hamas completes disarmament, Israeli forces will withdraw, and the International Stabilization Force will collaborate with a new Palestinian police force to ensure safety for Gaza's residents and neighbors.

A U.S. official noted that Israel remains "skeptical" that Hamas will follow through with the deal. The official described the process as "very technical," relying heavily on the expertise of the International Stabilization Force, which has studied the situation for months.

Israeli political analyst Amit Segal outlined that Hamas would surrender all weapons within weeks to depots guarded by multinational forces and cease all military activity and recruitment.
