SummerSlam 2026, one of WWE's premier summer events, returns for its second consecutive year as a two-night spectacle starting Saturday, August 1, 2026. The event will take place at Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, with broadcasts scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday nights.

The main event of Night 1 features CM Punk defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. The rivalry between Punk and Rhodes has been intense, with palpable tension noted even before WrestleMania 42, highlighted by their encounter on the go-home SmackDown show.

Additionally, Brock Lesnar is set to face Oba Femi inside a Hell in a Cell match, adding further excitement to the card.

Leading up to SummerSlam, several WWE superstars have been active across various venues, including Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Lainey Reid at Oakland Arena in California, and Solo Sikoa and Oba Femi appearing on Monday Night RAW at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
