The White House has used a song by Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny as the soundtrack for a video depicting operations by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The video, which shows arrests of migrants, initially included the song “La MuDANZA” (The Move) from Bad Bunny’s album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS (I should have taken more photos). However, the clip can now only be viewed on TikTok without the music. It remains unclear whether the removal of the audio was due to a complaint by the artist or his team.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, is a prominent critic of former US President Donald Trump’s deportation policies. At the Grammy Awards in February, the 32-year-old artist declared, “ICE out.” Due to concerns about potential ICE operations at his concerts, he chose to skip performances on the US mainland during his most recent world tour.

Additionally, Bad Bunny’s Spanish-language Super Bowl half-time show carried a political message, which drew sharp criticism from Trump.
