Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has not played a competitive snap since January 2025 but remains supremely confident in his abilities as an NFL starter. Despite facing a backup role behind Cam Ward, the Titans' second-year QB1, and Mitchell Trubisky, Levis expressed no doubts about his talent or readiness.

Levis, who has made 21 starts for the Titans, told reporters in Nashville on Saturday, August 2, 2026, “There are not 32 quarterbacks in this league better than me. I know that for sure.” He added, “I know I’ve put the tape out there already that I’m a dang good quarterback in this league.”

While acknowledging the competitive situation, Levis said, “I’m not worried about the competition per se or the amount of opportunities that they’re going to give me. I just got to make sure that I’m ready for when they are given to me and just preparing to be the best at that as possible.”

Photos show Levis warming up before a January 5, 2025 game against the Houston Texans in Nashville, as well as working out with quarterback coach Jordan Palmer in Orange County, California, on July 16, 2026. The Texans defeated the Titans 23-14 in that 2025 game.

Levis’s confidence comes amid questions about his health and his current standing on the Titans roster, but he remains focused on the challenge of reclaiming a starting quarterback role in the NFL.
