This platform enables verified congressional staffers to anonymously rate and review the offices where they work, offering a verified and reliable space to share feedback.

Former congressional staffer David Tennent, founder of Capitol CNCT, told Fox News Digital that the platform was created to modernize the experience for young people working in congressional offices in Washington, D.C. He explained that the idea for the ranking system arose from growing frustration over the number of "bad bosses" and "toxic offices" on Capitol Hill.

"I wanted to create something that gave a little bit more transparency to the process and help staffers find the best opportunities available," Tennent said in an interview. He emphasized that the platform aims to provide verifiable reviews for current and prospective staffers about what it is like working for certain members of Congress. Additionally, he hopes the feedback will serve as constructive criticism to help create a better working Congress.

To ensure credibility, Capitol CNCT verifies that anyone leaving a review has actually worked in the office they are rating. "We sift through all reviews before they go live to our platform to make sure that staffer has actually worked in that office," Tennent said. This process is intended to prevent the platform from becoming a space for unverified political retribution or baseless attacks.

Just a week after its launch, "The Scoop" has begun to reveal early insights into workplace culture across Capitol Hill. The platform's debut comes amid increased scrutiny of Capitol Hill's workplace environment following multiple misconduct allegations in congressional offices this year.
