A Canadian woman, Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, has been ordered deported to Canada following allegations that she assaulted a teenager wearing "Trump" and "ICE" sweatpants on the Point Pleasant boardwalk in New Jersey over the Fourth of July weekend.

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), an immigration judge in Texas issued the deportation order on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Tracey reportedly entered the United States on a visa in April 2024 but overstayed past its September expiration.

The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department responded to an assault report after Tracey allegedly struck a juvenile. Police say she slapped the teen after taking issue with the group's clothing, which included patriotic and political messages. Surveillance footage shows Tracey allegedly striking the teen twice.

DHS confirmed that Tracey "overstayed her visa and failed to depart." A spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stated on Wednesday that Tracey received full due process and will be returned to Canada as soon as possible.
