Switzerland, known for its neutral stance, has the largest number of nuclear bomb shelters in the world, with more than 370,000 such facilities across the country. Rather than dismantling its Cold War-era network of bomb shelters, Switzerland has continued to build and maintain them. Some of these shelters are currently repurposed to house migrants.
