Switzerland Maintains World’s Largest Network of Nuclear Bomb Shelters

Switzerland, known for its neutral stance, has developed and maintained the largest network of nuclear bomb shelters in the world. Instead of dismantling its extensive Cold War-era shelters, the country continued to build more, resulting in over 370,000 nuclear bomb shelters nationwide. Some of these shelters have been repurposed to house migrants.
