Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has outlined conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, demanding an end to the US naval blockade and compensation for war damages. This development comes as the US seeks assurances to halt attacks on vessels navigating the vital waterway.

US Vice President JD Vance stated that Iranian leaders have communicated they have "no plans to toll the Strait of Hormuz," while Washington continues to push for a commitment from Tehran to stop assaults on ships in the strait.
