Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has outlined conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, demanding an end to the US naval blockade and compensation for war damages. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical global shipping route, and its closure has heightened tensions in the region.

US Vice President JD Vance stated that Iranian leaders have communicated they have "no plans to toll the Strait of Hormuz." Washington is seeking a commitment from Tehran to halt attacks on ships passing through the waterway.

The situation remains a focal point of diplomatic and military attention, with the US also adjusting its defense strategies in response to the conflict with Iran.
