Kim Kardashian's Hidden Hills mansion was the scene of a break-in on Sunday, August 11th, 2026, after a vehicle was stolen from the property, officials confirmed to Fox News Digital. Deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's station responded to a residential burglary call before 4 p.m. at the 24800 block of Long Valley Road, where they located and arrested an adult male suspect.

The suspect, identified as Trey Mendel, was reportedly seen placing multiple items into a vehicle at the house, according to the Los Angeles Times. Authorities stated, "Upon arrival, deputies located a white male adult — Trey Mendel — and placed him under arrest for burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent."

Kardashian, 45, and her four children do not currently reside in the home, which is undergoing renovations. The reality star and her ex-husband, Kanye West, originally purchased the Hidden Hills mansion in 2014 for a reported $20 million. Following their divorce settlement, Kardashian acquired the home and its belongings from West for $23 million.

The suspect was transported and booked at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody. Authorities have indicated that the investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
