Duane "Keffe D" Davis, the only suspect ever charged in the drive-by shooting that killed rap superstar Tupac Shakur on 7 September 1996, has gone on trial in Las Vegas. The 63-year-old former gang boss faces charges of murder with a deadly weapon, accused of acting with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang. The trial began on Monday, August 10, 2026, and Davis has entered a plea of not guilty.
