UK rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was found not guilty of raping a fan following a 2024 nightclub performance in Hillarys, a coastal suburb of Perth, Australia. On Friday, July 31st, 2026, a Western Australia jury acquitted him on three counts of sexual penetration without consent.

However, Barrientos was found guilty of two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm related to the same incident. He was also acquitted of one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and strangulation. The jury was unable to reach a verdict on three additional rape charges.

The woman involved was 20 years old at the time of the alleged assault. Barrientos, 30, who was born in Colombia and raised in the UK, had met the woman at the concert venue where he was in the VIP area and she was in the general admission section.

During the trial's closing arguments, prosecutor Danielle Clarke described Barrientos as an "entitled" man with a "moderate degree of fame" who had violated the fan "in the most intrusive way possible." Barrientos pleaded not guilty to all charges and reportedly cried when the verdict was read.

He has been on bail since being charged and was permitted to return to the UK for four months in September before coming back to Western Australia for the trial. Barrientos will remain on bail until August 21st, when the court will determine his sentencing date.
