Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi provided an update on her health in an emotional Instagram video shared on Saturday, August 1st, 2026. The 38-year-old reality star revealed she underwent a hysterectomy six months after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

The video showed Polizzi arriving at the hospital and preparing for surgery, with her narrating the experience. After the procedure, she spoke directly to the camera, describing the physical and emotional challenges she faced.

"I told you guys in general I’m not good with pain, and I’ve really been trying to be tough, but it’s not great," Polizzi said. She explained that due to a previous C-section cut, the surgeon removed her uterus, cervix, and parts of her vagina to ensure all cancerous tissue was excised. However, her ovaries were preserved to prevent early menopause.

Polizzi also shared her anxiety before the surgery, saying, "I was starting to get nervous and anxious, getting checked in and stuff, and then they wheel me in where they’re doing the procedure." She humorously recounted trying to "set the record" for how long she could hold out before passing out from anesthesia, counting to 10 seconds despite being told most people only last three.

The video concluded with Polizzi becoming emotional as she reflected on the experience.
