Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries announced on Monday, August 3rd, 2026, that a Ukrainian drone attack on one of its warehouses in the Vladimir region caused a fire, prompting the evacuation of staff. Firefighters were reported to be working at the scene, and logistics operations have been rerouted to other facilities to maintain delivery and shipment schedules.

Alexander Avdeyev, the regional governor, stated that a young man sustained a non life-threatening head wound in the attack and was hospitalized. Additionally, a nearby resident suffered minor leg injuries.

Since mid-July 2026, Ukrainian forces have targeted approximately 20 Wildberries sites across Russia and annexed Crimea. The initial strikes on the night of July 17-18 resulted in eight deaths and nearly 90 injuries at locations in the Moscow and Tambov regions. Subsequent drone attacks have hit sites near Saint Petersburg, Simferopol in Crimea, Krasnodar, Volgograd, and Samara.

These attacks form part of a broader Ukrainian campaign of long-range strikes against civilian infrastructure in Russia, aimed at pressuring the Kremlin to negotiate an end to the conflict that began in February 2022.
