Mauritian rider Kim Le Court claimed a dramatic win in stage six of the Tour de France Femmes on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Despite an early crash and mechanical problems that forced her to change bikes just 15 kilometers from the finish, Le Court powered through a hilly 153km route from Montbrison to Tournon-sur-Rhône in southeastern France.

At 30 years old, Le Court was part of an eight-rider breakaway group and ultimately out-sprinted France's Cedrine Kerbaol and the Netherlands' Puck Pieterse to take the stage victory. This marks her second stage win in the Grande Boucle, following her triumph last year in Guéret.

Le Court credited her team for their support, saying, "It was a truly crazy stage. The team did such a great job positioning me at the front of the race that I couldn't give up the fight."

Swiss rider Marlen Reusser retained the leader's yellow jersey, maintaining a 12-second lead over Dutch competitor Demi Vollering and a 1 minute 17 second gap over Poland's Kasia Niewiadoma. The overall favorites finished 28 seconds behind the breakaway group.

The race now heads into its queen stage on Friday, August 7, which will conclude with a challenging climb to the summit of Mont Ventoux in the French Alps via the Bedoin route, covering 15.7 kilometers at an average gradient of 8.8 percent.
