A recent survey conducted across 11 Asia-Pacific markets, including Singapore, reveals that social circles and home environments significantly impact individuals' holistic health and wellness habits.

The Herbalife Asia Pacific Wellness Culture Survey 2026 gathered responses from over 10,000 people, finding that 82% of respondents consider holistic health extremely or very important. Among those identifying their wellness environments, 85% said the home has become a more important influence on their wellness habits compared to three years ago, while 80% noted the same about their social circles.

Encouragement from family, friends, and communities helps transform good intentions into lasting habits. Thomas Harms, managing director for Asia Pacific at Herbalife, stated, “The people around you play a crucial role in providing the everyday support needed to turn good intentions into lasting habits. When families, friends and communities make healthier choices together, wellness goals become easier to attain and sustain over time.”

The survey also found that 47% of respondents had prepared or bought healthier food for someone else in the past year, with about 80% reporting they are doing so more often now than three years ago. Additionally, nearly two-thirds expressed a desire for more support in physical health, while 51% and 46% sought more support for mental and emotional health, respectively.

These findings underscore the importance of social and home environments in fostering sustainable wellness practices across the Asia-Pacific region.
