Former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd called Bravo host Andy Cohen "full of s---" on Tuesday, August 12th, 2026, after he defended the inclusion of "MAGA women" on the franchise's shows.

Dodd spoke to Fox News Digital following Cohen's response on Threads to a question about why there were "so many MAGA women" on the series, particularly the "Orange County" season. Cohen stated, "If we didn’t showcase people with different POV’s there would be no show. Also it’s a show about the women and their relationships, not about politics."

Dodd challenged Cohen's comment, asserting that Bravo and Cohen did not genuinely welcome conservative perspectives before and are now motivated primarily by ratings. She said, "They're making excuses that they need points of views when I don't think that's true. He doesn't have different points of view."

Additionally, former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Annemarie Wiley told Fox News Digital last year that she was no longer invited back to the show after leaving in 2024 due to her conservative views, including her stance on protecting girls' sports. Wiley stated, "I was given a terrible edit by Bravo and I found out after the season was finished when they didn't invite me back, that that was the reason that I was given that edit, apparently… because I was a conservative."

This exchange highlights ongoing tensions regarding political representation and editorial decisions within the "Real Housewives" franchise.
