Hong Kong Cantopop star Keung To has been banned from driving for three months after Eastern Court revoked his probationary driving licence on July 8, 2026. The court ordered Keung to surrender his licence within 14 days.
Keung, 27, was absent from the hearing due to work commitments. His lawyer informed the court that Keung had lost his licence and had reported the loss to the police. Principal Magistrate David Cheung Chi-wai instructed Keung to make a verbal declaration at the court registry if he could not find the licence before the deadline.
Magistrate Cheung warned that the disqualification order prohibits Keung from driving any type of vehicle during the ban period. He emphasized, “The court will not tolerate any violation [of the order] and will sentence the defendant to immediate imprisonment.”
Keung's driving ban follows the accumulation of 15 demerit points from various traffic offences committed last year.
