Carmen Electra, who first appeared in Playboy in 1996 at age 24, is featured again in the magazine's Summer 2026 issue, now available for purchase. Nearly three decades after becoming one of Playboy's most iconic cover stars, Electra returns with a message to critics: "Don't let anyone tell you you're too old."
Electra, known for her role as lifeguard Lani McKenzie on the hit television series "Baywatch," shared that she never expected to appear in the magazine again but decided to "go with the flow of life."
She also revealed what makes her most confident at 54 and offered advice for the new "Baywatch" cast, which stars Brooks Nader as a series regular. Electra attended The Abbey's 35th Anniversary event in West Hollywood on May 20, 2026.
Long before "Baywatch" made her a household name, Playboy introduced Electra to the world. The "Baywatch" series reboot was announced by Fox in 2025, nearly 25 years after the original ended in 2001.
