The brother of a man accusing radio host Alan Jones of indecent assault testified in court on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, that he never saw Jones act inappropriately towards his brother and only learned of the allegations after Jones's arrest.

Complainant J, a former youth athlete, has alleged that Jones kissed and touched him indecently when he was 17 or 18 years old. He has completed his testimony in the criminal trial held at the New South Wales Local Court.

Jones, 85, has pleaded not guilty to 20 counts of assault with an act of indecency and two counts of sexual touching involving six alleged victims between 2003 and 2020. His lawyers have accused Complainant J of "concocting" his evidence based on media reports.

The witness, Complainant J's brother, recalled first meeting Jones in 2003 through his brother due to Jones's interest in Complainant J's emerging sporting career. He recounted seeing news of Jones's arrest and that shortly after, Complainant J asked to meet him at a fast-food restaurant, where he said to him, "This is the hardest thing I've ever had to tell you."

At the meeting, the brother asked what Jones had done, and why Complainant J had not spoken out earlier. Complainant J responded that he did not want Jones's financial support and assistance to stop.

The brother also testified that he visited Jones's Fitzroy Falls farmstay once, which the court has heard was a different visit from the one where Complainant J alleges the assault occurred.

During questioning, the brother was asked if he ever saw Jones act inappropriately towards his brother, to which he replied he did not. The court heard Complainant J's description of Jones's alleged actions, including grabbing and kissing him.

The trial continues as the court examines evidence related to these allegations.
